As residents of Kitely and OSGrid as well as SecondLife, Sally and Sarvana Cherry have met numerous networking partners (“friends”), discovered fascinating virtual creations, and shared resources within the virtual worlds community. While living in OSGrid and with the help of a building partner, Sarvana established the OSG Content Creators Resource Group to provide informative and instructional content and resources related to virtual designing and creating. The virtual-based project lead to the development and construction of a multi-region complex located in Kitely. Recently, the ongoing “real to virtual to real” integration of HIV/AIDS awareness, nonprofit capacity building, laboratory training and social networking activities continues in OpenSim’s Kitely.
